Mission Statement
Welcome to the WFN website
The World Federation of Neurology is the international body representing the speciality of neurology in more than 100 countries/regions of the globe. The WFN has these neurological societies as its members and their individual members are in turn WFN members through this association. Applications from societies that do not yet belong are always welcome and should be sent in the first instance to the London Office.
It shall be the purpose of the World Federation of Neurology to improve human health worldwide by promoting prevention and the care of persons with disorders of the entire nervous system by:
- Fostering the best standards of neurological practice.
- Educating, in collaboration with neuroscience and other international public and private organisations.
- Facilitating research through its Research Groups and other means.
