In accordance with the Memorandum and Articles of Association of the World Federation of Neurology, the election of one new Trustee will take place at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Council of Delegates later this year. Names of candidates who are willing to serve and who receive the official support of their national society must arrive at the WFN London headquarters office by Friday, 16th March, 2012.
The list of candidates agreed by the Nominating Committee will then be published. It is open to anyone to make an additional nomination by securing the supporting signatures of five or more authorized WFN Delegates and submitting the name of the individual in question to the Secretary-Treasurer General, c/o the WFN Headquarters office, at least thirty days prior to the date of the Council of Delegates‚ Annual General Meeting, which is likely to be Sunday, 9th September 2012 in Stockholm, Sweden during the EFNS meeting.
