10th World Congress of Neurorehabilitation (WCNR) 7-10 February, Mumbai, India: The third day of 10th World Federation of Neurorehabilitation was attended by nearly 2000 delegates once again.

The "Meet the Professor" program was an insightful series of sessions, highly appreciated by the delegates who had the opportunity to hear and ask questions off specialists within the diverse areas of spasticity management, stroke prognosis, pharmacology of neurorehabilitation, common neurorehabilitation syndromes, and scientific underpinnings behind neglect and neglect rehabilitation.

During the Presidential Lecture: Neurorehabilitation - Challenges Ahead, Professor Leonard Li made a strong case for promoting better neurological care worldwide, reminding the audience of the data on Global Burden of Diseases (GBD) corroborating neurological disorders as the number one disability worldwide in an ageing population.

The daily patient forum was a sell-out event with a packed audience. Ten non-profit organisations representing head injuries, epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, and dementia discussed the salient issues with a series of moving stories of real patients, together with patient educational presentations from established specialists in India.

Sessions on free papers covered stroke rehabilitation, cognitive disorders including neuropsychology, movement disorders, spinal cord injury with excellent representation worldwide.
