The World Federation of Neurology (WFN) and the Department of Neurology of Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar, Senegal are delighted to announce a one-year Visiting Fellowship Program in Epilepsy for African Neurologists.

The purpose is to experience the Senegalese medical system in an international environment, meet new colleagues, and foster future cooperation. The training course at the Department of Neurology of Cheikh Anta Diop University will include epidemiology, diagnosis, treatment and good clinical practices. Teaching will be conducted in French.

The WFN presently offers two types of fellowships. One of them is epilepsy, to meet the huge needs to treat epilepsy in Africa. The WFN Training Center in Dakar has excellent experience in epilepsy and will train the fellow in all pertinent issues of epilepsy.

The visit will take place for one academic year from September/October 2019 to August/September 2020.
